Carolina Ophthalmology has been serving the people of Western North Carolina for over 30 years and our reputation for quality surgical outcomes is well established. Our physicians are highly experienced and specialty trained to treat cataracts, glaucoma, retinal disease, corneal disease, and facial aesthetic problems.
We are committed to offering the most advanced technology available to our patients. Our newest offerings include premium lenses for cataract surgery such as the ReStor® lens, the Tecnis® lens and the Crystalens®, which reduce the dependence on glasses after cataract surgery; the Cutera Titan® Laser, a technically advanced laser that offers facial rejuvenation by treating delicate broken veins, sun damage and other skin imperfections with remarkable results; and the new drug Lucentis, a breakthrough treatment for wet macular degeneration patients.
