FPC Newton is a growing congregation of over 650 men, women and children who are active in our faith and mission. We offer a caring community of worship for people living in the heart of Catawba County. We are a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA).

The mission of First Presbyterian Church of Newton, North Carolina is to proclaim our calling as servants of Christ, revealing our commitment by serving Christ in His community and world.

If you're looking for a church home, you'll find this to be an active and friendly congregation with lots to offer. Our LOGOS program offers midweek fun, food and fellowship for ages 5 to 15. Special programs for seniors, five different adult Sunday School classes, morning Bible study, an active youth ministry and annual/special mission trips are all part of the vibrant worship experience at First Church Newton. Our intimate 8:45 am service takes place in our historic 140 year old chapel and our exuberant 11:00 service is hosted in our brand new 500-seat sanctuary.
