ustom components for your project are carefully integrated to provide maximum dust pick-up and filtration in an efficient mechanical system. To insure the highest quality at the lowest cost, those components are custom fabricated and fitted in our facilities. Fabrication materials include:
All elements of a system are designed for easy access and service including doors, catwalks, ladder locations, filters, serviceable equipment with bearings and gear boxes, etc. We also believe the system should be a visually pleasing addition to your facility. Our units incorporate ducts, supports, fans and motors in orderly, professional designs that are a positive reflection of your manufacturing operation.
The installation of your system begins in our facility with experienced fabricators who bolt, weld, cut and fit components to create a solid, functional unit. Installation continues at your facility with our expert installation teams. We have experience installing filtration equipment from most major manufacturers, with setting large equipment, structural steel and utilizing cranes and heavy machinery.
We offer two lines of material handling fans: the Bruning & Federle "JJ" line and the "Carolina Blower" line. Both fans are fabricated from 1/4" plate steel with heavy-duty construction units available. The "B&F" line offers extra heavy shaft and split housing bearings.
We also offer the Bruning & Federle and "Carolina" lines of flexible tip rotary airlocks. The "B&F" valve uses a syclodrive gear reducer and has a removable scroll section for major replacement. The "Carolina" valve uses a C-face right angle worm gear reducer. Both units have plate steel housings, T.E.F.C. motors and chain drive with guards.
Since 1963, Bruning and Federle has built a reputation for quality. That reputation encompasses outstanding service, exceptional components and dependable, long-lasting systems. We design and construct systems for the woodworking, paper, food, plastics, chemicals, brick and other industries. We accept large and small projects, from complete systems for an entire facility to ducting a single machine.
