John E. Jenkins, Incorporated began operations in Gastonia, North Carolina in June of 1948 with one employee, Mr. John Jenkins, and one piece of equipment - a bulldozer.

Today, as we celebrate our 62nd year in business, we have a long history of providing quality site development in Gaston County and the surrounding counties in North Carolina and South Carolina. We have worked very hard to establish our reputation of providing quality, cost effective site work with a goal of total customer satisfaction.

John E. Jenkins, Inc. is a general contractor licensed in NC and SC specializing in self-performing site work operations. We also have a team of subcontractors that enable us to provide a turn-key site work package.

Our corporate office is located in Gastonia, NC on Delta Drive just off Interstate 85 near Exit 14, as is our state-of-the-art eight bay repair shop, and training facilities.

John E. Jenkins, Inc. commits a large portion of our workforce to commercial and industrial projects, subdivisions, and roadways. These projects cover all aspects of site development for both small businesses and large corporations. As site work contractors, we are experienced in grading, clearing, erosion control, demolition, storm drainage, utilities, concrete curb and gutter, stone and asphalt paving. We often work with general contractors, engineers and architects for design build projects.
