Thanks to you the CSW Tools & Blanket Program is a rainbow of caring to people around the world. On November 21 a special offering, our “blanket offering”, will be received. This is a Church World Service program that helps to provide relief in the aftermath of natural disasters. Church World Service goes to affected places with tools of hope, including blankets, emergency clean-up buckets, medical supplies, and health, school, and kids kits to assist uprooted families and individuals.

HISTORICAL CHURCH RECORDS NOW ON DVD. Our church has a long and rich history. Many of our historical records, which are on microfilm at the archives in Raleigh, have recently been copied into DVD format. These records, the oldest of which date back to 1816, contain many of the important decisions and events that helped to shape our church. A copy of this DVD is available for $10. Just contact the church office.

Advent Workshop, Sunday, November 21, Kerr Building
Discover meaningful and joyful ways for your family to celebrate Advent and Christmas. Music, crafts, and snacks will be part of the morning workshop beginning at 9:30. Help your family prepare for the Christmas season by creating a handmade Advent wreath, ornaments, & much more! You don't want to miss this opportunity sponsored by the Christian Education Ministry. Please come out and enjoy the musical “Scrooge” which will be performed in the Kerr Building on Friday, December 3, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, December 5, at 2:00 p.m.

Order your poinsettias for the holiday season
The Worship and Music Committee announces that you may order poinsettias in memory of or in honor of loved ones again this year. These beautiful plants will decorate the Sanctuary during the Advent season and may be picked up after the Christmas Eve services. Order forms will be available on the tables in the Narthex or in the wall rack outside the church office or online under resources. The deadline for ordering is December 5, and the price for each poinsettia is $8.50.

Angel Tree will be up by November 14
The Presbyterian Women invite you to choose an angel(s) and help again this year to bring love, joy, and the spirit of Christmas to someone else as well as yourself.
Your wrapped gift(s) with the “Angel” securely attached should be returned to the church office or be placed under the tree by December 12 (absolute deadline).
Thank you in advance for helping to bring Christmas to someone less fortunate.
