Becky and I want to express our gratitude for your many acts of love at the Pastors Appreciation Dinner. You were very kind. I count it an extreme honor to serve as your pastor. I also appreciate your former pastors who served the Lord so faithfully at Gospel Baptist Church. God mightily used preacher Blackburn, preacher Gribble and pastor Bobby and we should always be thankful for the impact of their ministries in our lives. God used each of these men in unique ways to help Gospel be a better church for the glory of God. The writer of Hebrews commanded, remember them which have rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God (13:7). In other words, always remember these men with great fondness and gratitude. Of course, this gratitude should be expressed however the Lord directs you. Pray for them or their families and as John instructed, let us not love in word (only), neither in tongue (only); but in deed and in truth (3:18). We love all of you.
