Welcome to our research review website for back and neck pain
We are an evidence-based practice We construct our treatment programs based on
accepted procedures and the best available evidence. As the former chairman of the
the primary agency that writes practice guidelines and evaluates research for
chiropractic doctors in the United States, I think that is is important to share current
literature about the care of certain musculoskeletal conditions for health care
professionals and those who find it difficult to search through the increasing amounts of
literature being made available. Thus, this website was constructed separately from our
main site. I hope that you find this helpful as a health care provider or health care
Click on the tabs above for the most recent information that we have posted, arranged
in categories primarily by anatomic region. We update this site as new articles of
interest are published and make comments on them.

This website provides recent research for health care professionals that we work with,
although there is also information for patients and members of the public searching for
information here. We encourage you to visit our main website for patients at http://greensboro-chiropractor.com/
We specialize in treating problems of the joints and muscles, particularly the spine. We
also treat some types of arm and leg injuries or other conditions relating to the
extremities, such as numbness or pain. Frequently, our office also treats a number of
types of headaches if they are found to be caused by problems in the neck. We do not
do surgery and do not prescribe medication.
How do we treat these conditions? We use a number of types of treatments: gentle
hand manipulation to gradually encourage joints to function properly, improve
movement, relieve pain and contraction of muscles, therapies such as ultrasound,
electrotherapies, diathermy and we also employ the use of decompression traction
and acupuncture if needed. We also provide as much information as possible in terms
of exercise, activity modification, nutrition and other topics so that those who see us
can maximize their health and remain active as long as possible.
We also work with many other health care providers to insure that care is as complete
as possible, receiving and making referrals.
