A Must See!!
This Month in the Garden: 2010 NOVEMBER
Remove dead vegetable plants, till garden, and incorporate compost, lime, and bone meal to area.
After leaves have fallen, clean them out of the beds, and mulch.
Continue to plant trees and shrubs. Keep in mind to water them at this time. If the winter is dry you will still need to water them every 1-2 weeks. Typically this is not a problem, as our winters receive adequate amounts of moisture.
Around Thanksgiving, fertilize your fescue lawn again with a slow release fertilizer.
Compost your pumpkins after the holidays. Next summer you may be rewarded with the seeds germinating, giving you a bounty of gourds next year.
