Rum Runner Dive Shop is a full service NAUI Pro-Platinum facility in operation in the Greenville / Winterville area and serving East Carolina from the Capital to the Coast for over 30 years (since 1976). We are located in the Community Square Shopping Center, on South Memorial Drive (NC 11 South) in Winterville, N.C. The Community Square Shopping Center is located just North of Pitt Community College adjacent to Burger King and Chico's restaurants.

Rum Runner has the broadest selection of top quality dive equipment of any shop in the region and we have the gear to satisfy your needs! Atomic, Scubapro, Genesis, Sherwood, OMS, Poseidon, Ocean Reef, Deep Sea Supply, Pinnacle, Waterproof, DUI, Green Force, Niterider and more!

We have all bases covered - Deep diving, shallow diving, warm water, cold water, dirty water, contaminated water, technical diving, cave diving, even public safety diving....If one of our regulators doesn't fulfill your needs then that regulator doesn't exist.

Rum Runner Dive Shop has always supported the Boy Scouts of America. Pete and Kurt are Eagle Scouts and Pete with son Chris recently attended the National Jamboree on Scuba Staff. The Scouts have recently introduced the Scuba Merit Badge and we recently certified our first class of Scouts as divers and Merit Badge recipients. If your Troop or Venturing Crew is interested in setting up a Scuba program, call the shop and we can help you out.

We train all year round. Spring, Summer and Fall we train locally utilizing our comfortable classroom in the shop and the 15 foot dive well at Minges Colliseum. Open water dives are done either in local quarries; Fantasy Lake or Lake Rawlings or off-shore dives out of Morehead City or Beaufort, NC. In the winter we head south to the Florida springs for check-out dives.
Too cold outside for you? We now also offer First Aid, CPR, Oxygen Administration and Hazardous Marine Life training.

Some shops can only carry one brand and they try to convince you that there is only one choice. We disagree and we have the gear to prove it.

SUBGEAR Dive Equipment - Sold in Europe since 1979 as Seeman Sub acquired by Scubapro's parent company Johnson Outdoors and rebranded as SUBGEAR now introduced to the American market. A blend of German engineering and Scubapro quality to produce a excellent mid-priced choice for the value conscious diver.
Scubapro/Uwatec does it again with two hot new computers the Galileo Sol and Luna. The most technologically advanced recreational dive computers on the market. We're having trouble keeping them in stock. Come on in and try one on.
They may be usual looking, but they are a powerful fin while still maintaining a comfortable fit. The Seawing Nova, now in 2 color choices; black and white.
TANKS - We now can get tanks from Worthington, Blue Steel, Faber, Luxfer and Catalina. We think that is just about everyone.
Atomic Aquatics Smoke on the Water fins are still one of the hotest fins on the market. The next generation split fins smokes the competition. Stay tuned for the Atomic Cobalt computer due out soon.
Pinnacle Dry Suits are in. The Evolution, Evolution 2 and 3 different undergarments are on display including Merino lining! The Pinnacle Black Ice dry suit is also available. The new Elastoprene wet suits are available NOW - 3mm, 5mm and 7mm with Merino lining.
