he 5th Street Inn is located on the corner of East 5th Street and Library Street across from the centennial campus of East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Being in the historical district, the tree-lined street is made up of well maintained homes housing families, various student organizations, ECU offices as well as the chancellor and his family.
During the day, there is a steady stream of foot traffic around the Inn, but as dusk settles in, the sounds of crickets and the breeze rustling the leaves can be heard. Parking in the back and entering the Inn through the side porch, you will sense the quiet and will be eager to return to the porch or the private yard with a glass of wine to enjoy the end of the day.
Fine dining, live theatrical shows, the nightlife of uptown Greenville, art galleries, local coffee shops and much more can be enjoyed just blocks away by all who stay at The 5th Street Inn.

The 5th Street Inn was voted Best Bed and Breakfast by the Greenville Times' "2008 Best of Times." It was also featured on the front page of the Daily Reflector on Saturday June 24, 2006 as an "Historic Elegance."
