Ward & Son, Inc. was founded by William P. Ward and his wife Marjorie in 1946. It was later joined by William's father, Cliff Ward. The initial business specialized in farm equipment repair and steel fabrication. For more than fifty years we have specialized in equipment repair, boiler installation, oil equipment installation, grain silos erection and repair, heating and air conditioning contracting, plumbing, electrical installation, and special purpose metal fabrication. Ward & Son was issued a Corporation charter in North Carolina in 1961.
Jack Ward, son of William and Marjorie Ward, joined the company in 1973. Jack is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After serving two years in the Army (a Vietnam Veteran), he worked in Tidewater, Virginia for three years in banking and credit. He became President of Ward & Son, Inc. in 1981 and continues to serve in that capacity.
Ward & Son, Inc. currently offers installation, service and repair in the areas of heating, air and gas conversions. We also offer electrical services and repair. Ward & Son, Inc. enjoys an established track record of excellent support for our customers. Their expressions of satisfaction and encouragement are numerous and we intend to continue our growth and advances in the contracting marketplace by offering the best service available.

We are the only contractor in Northeastern NC licensed in HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical, which gives us the ability to handle your toughest service problems or retrofit installations.
