We are pleased that you have chosen Children's Health Services for your pediatric health care. Our staff is committed to providing the best quality and most up-to-date care for our patients, while being highly sensitive to the needs of your child.

We put patients and families first, whether it's for acute care, chronic disease or the maintenance of good health! We strive to educate families on how to recognize immediate health care needs to lessen the need for weekend and night visits, and to foster greater confidence in your ability to make your family's health care decisions!

You will also find many of our registration and evaluation forms posted here for download, allowing you time to complete prior to your child's visit.

At Children's Health Services, we provide a wide range of services for our patients. Our services include: pediatric sick care and well care, adolescent care and consultation, adolescent female examinations/contraception management and specialized care for children with chronice diseases. We are certified by the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in the management and treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other childhood behavior concerns.

In addition, at Children's Health Services we offer consultation and care for children with other chronic diseases such as: developmental delays, seizures, diabetes, cancer, sickle cell anemai, cerebral palsy, hypertentions, etc. We're also members of the Pitt County Asthma Program and offer specialized asthma/reactive airway disease services.

Children's Health Services is the charter practice for the KidPower Project to evaluate and manage obesity and overweight concerns. We offer an on-site nutritionist to help families improve their diets.

For new moms and moms to be, we offer prenatal consultations, postpartum depression screening and referrals, as well as lactation assistance.

It is that time of year again for Family Vacations, Camps or spending time outdoors! Here are a few tips to remember to make sure you stay safe from the heat and the sun.

The ASQ-3 Questionnaires are developmental test given at the recommended well child visits to help follow the progress of your childs development. Please take the opportunity to print off and fill out the ASQ-3s prior to your childs visit.

CHS has received an ample supply of the H1N1 vaccine. We are offering it to all established patients and parents interested in being vaccinated. Please call the office to schedule an appointment.
