Deaton Yacht Service has received the "Clean Marina" designation from the North Carolina Division of Coastal Management. We are committed to the environmental practices necessary to keeping our coastal waters clean and healthy.

Deaton Yacht Service was founded in 1979, and is managed by John Deaton and his wife Karen. Truely a family business, John's brother Bob and his father Ralph were also part of the boatyard and now several of John and Karen's sons are involved too.
Located just off the ICW in Oriental, NC, Deaton's serves both the local boating community and those who are 'just passing through' on the Waterway. The yard is located in a well-protected creek, within easy walking distance of grocery, chandlery, hardware store, coffee shop and many wonderful restaurants.
Our professional staff include experts in engine work, fiberglass, mechanical repair, electroninics and bottom work. Our parts department offers a useful selection of parts and we are always available to help you find exactly what you need.

Boat Yard Services
Deaton Yacht Service offers a full line of services and products for your boat. From simple bottom paint jobs to full refits, Deaton Yacht Service is your best choice for work done both efficiently and effectively. Our staff provides today's yachtsmen and women expert consultations, guidance and quality work.

Boat US Towing Service
We offer TOWBOAT/US towing services. With seven licensed captains in our staff, we are willing and capable to provide tow boat services 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We have two towing vessels, properly equipped to handle virtually any towing or salvage job.

Our personalized brokerage office works hand in hand with our boatyard. As a seller or a buyer of a yacht, you will benefit from the connection the brokers have with the service yard. You will find our brokers are experienced yachtsman with extensive knowledge of all kinds of quality vessels.

Our Office and Parts Department are open from 8-5 M-F and 8-12 on Saturday.
