CURTISS MERRICK, MD, is a primary care and specialty medical practice of Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine that serves patients in Carteret County and eastern North Carolina. Our doctors and staff deliver comprehensive health care in a pleasant and comfortable environment, with courtesy and attention to the patient and family. Emphasis is placed on preventive medicine and patient service. Our patients receive local inpatient medical services at Carteret General Hospital. Our referral network includes specialists and hospitals throughout eastern and central North Carolina.
With recent changes in the Medicare program, many doctors no longer accept patients on Medicare. We welcome new Medicare patients and treasure our established patients who are insured by Medicare. In addition, we participate in most commercial health insurance plans.
