My name is Sylvia Measamer Hines and I started this company after I got married for the second time. I had been a widow for eight years and decided to have a fun wedding to thank all of the people who had helped me through some difficult times. It had been thirty years since I was married the first time and I had no idea how much stress and expense was involved. On top of all of that, there were hurricanes and the flood of the century hit our area. I realized how many things influence and add to the stress of planning a wedding.
I have worked with Brides and Grooms in the retail business helping them choose china, crystal, flatware, gifts for the home, invitations, and attendants gifts. I enjoyed spending the time and effort to see them accomplish what they wanted for their new life together.
When I started planning my wedding I began to realize how expensive everything was and how much stress was involved. I knew there had to be a better way. I began studying and received my Consultant Certification. After that I began doing research on planning all types of weddings. I read books, magazines, and articles on weddings, receptions, and parties. Then I began contacting companies and setting up accounts. I chose the companies that offered what Brides wanted and needed at a fair price. I work with the companies that give its dealers the best discount so that savings can be passed on to the customer. I designed a company that offers personal service to help you have "The Wedding of Your Dreams." My goal is to alleviate the stress and stay within the budget! I work with brides in my shop, by email, fax, and phone. I have brides and other customers all over the country. I now have former brides coming back to order their baby announcements!
