Southern Surgical Associates Welcomes Dr. McGuire

We are delighted to announce the addition of Dr. Timothy McGuire, MD, PhD to Southern Surgical Associates, PA. Dr. McGuire is an experienced general surgeon who just completed fellowship in Advanced Laparscopic Surgery with Bariatric Surgery training. Dr. McGuire received a BS from Oakland University and MD/PhD from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. He completed his general surgery residency at Wayne State University. Following his general surgery residency, he was in private practice in Washington, NC for 5 years before he undertook the Advanced Laparoscopic fellowship.

Here at Southern Surgical Associates, we have recommitted ourselves to customer care. We want to make sure that your journey with us in your quest for surgery, especially bariatric surgery, is as pleasant as possible. In order to fullfil our hope of better customer service, we have added the services of Ms. Laura Smith. Her professional career has centered around customer care. She is especially sympathetic to the needs of bariatric patients based on her own personal experiences. While she may not be able to answer any medical questions, she will be very helpful with many of your issues and concerns leading up to surgery.
