THANKSGIVING EVE SERVICE
The Holidays are fast approaching; our annual Thanksgiving Eve Service will be Wednesday evening, November 25th at 7:00pm at Salem UMC. We will be joining Phillipi Missionary Baptist Church at Salem for the combined worship service this year and Rev. Batchelor will bring the message. The joining of these two congregations for a community service is ten plus years old in tradition. Please consider being a part of this service as we gather in the spirit of Thanksgiving for our many blessings.
CHRISTMAS DINNER THEATER CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS, CRICKET COUNTY STYLE!!
Back by popular demand is the next installment of the Cricket County Christmas series. This time the city cousins are returning to hopefully swindle a little loot from their unsuspecting country cousins…only someone has already beat them to the punch! The fun and hilarity center on Fester learning his lines for a big Christmas production. Production dates will be Sunday December 5 and Saturday December 11. Mark your calendars and reserve your tickets soon. All proceeds will benefit the building fund with a tithe going to conference missions. Tickets are $12.50 and are on sale now.

BECOME A BACK PACK PAL TODAY! We need your help to feed students of G R Whitfield School of Grimesland. Donate individually packaged items such as cereal, juice boxes, ravioli, pop tarts, vienna sausage, chips, packages of cheese & crackers, fruit cups, apple sauce, fruit cocktail, pudding cups, cookies, nabs, granola bars and nutrigrain bars. Donation boxes are in the vestibule and the side door leading to the fellowship hall.
Salem Card Ministry Salem Methodist Church has started a card ministry for prayers, cares, sympathy, concerns, and support. You can request a card for any purpose you wish. Request forms are by the boxes at both entrances to the sanctuary. You can also email your requests to salemcardministry@hotmail.com.
