" is to follow Christ, to worship God every Sunday in his church, and to work and pray and give for the spread of His Kingdom".1928 Book of Common Prayer
We are a Continuing Anglican Parish within the Anglican Catholic Church under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of the South; we blend the beauty of the original Episcopal Church as founded in 1789, with the Sacramental and Liturgical Traditions of our Catholic heritage, which we retain through Historical Apostolic Succession, with the faith of the Ancient Fathers, Councils and Creeds as preserved within The Anglican Catholic Church, with Classical Anglicanism in its Anglo-Catholic form. Our worship is for the formal recognition of God and for His Honor and Glory, for well Saint Paul says:
"Let all things be done decently and in order."
At St. Bartholomews, our worship takes on varied characteristics from liturgically formalEucharist, to the simple daily recitation of the Morning and EveningPrayers aswell as 1928 Commonn Book of Prayer Holy Days, and Hyms from the 1940 Hymnal,We have Thoughtful and relevant sermons, our beautiful and well cared for sanctuary, and of course the great people here all contribute to the best worship we can offer! Visitors, newcomers, and seekersare always welcome at all services.
