Blue Mountain Metal Works in Banner Elk, North Carolina produces and fabricates interior metal railings, exterior metal railings, interior metal gates, exterior metal gates, metal fireplace screens, and other elegant metal fixtures. We are a family owned and operated metal fabrication shop located in The High Country of the mountains of western North Carolina. We specialize in fences, interior and exterior railings, balconies, unique fixtures and installations, custom furniture, gates for the garden or driveway or for security purposes.

Blue Mountain Metal Works will handcraft custom-made items and fixtures to fit your specific needs and your personal taste. When you visit us, we will take you through our design process in order for you to feel most comfortable with our working on your metal-working project.

Blue Mountain Metal Works utilizes both traditional and modern styles, using a variety of materials and finshing techniques. We specialize in custom one-of-a-kind products that are truly unique. We usually spend lots of time consulting with you and taking care to design your item to some exacting specifications. We consider this time to be well spent and is a fundamental part of us doing business with you.

There is no charge for an initial consultaion, which may include a visit to your site. Our estimates are provided to you free of charge and this includes all of our time spent producing an initial design.
