Case Study: Kitty goes guerilla
Cats Against Clay, an underground resistance movement led by cats for cats, raised social awareness about the hazards of clay-based litter in a manner that literally crashed switchboards and stopped busy people in their tracks. In the process, it also attracted new followers and national headlines. The campaign increased Feline Pine market share by stealing it from the categorys big cats, without ever mentioning the product name.
