Field Waiver Field Rules Map and Directions
We adhere to a strict privacy policy that means your information will not be shared, sold, or otherwise distributed.
Due to the recent amount of unfriendly winter weather, Wolverine has now established a weather policy. We in good conscience can not take peoples hard earned money knowing full well that playing paintball in very cold weather is difficult to do and can make for a frustrating day at the field. Any honest field operator will tell you that there is a huge change in performance below 50deg. Most CO2 powered guns are designed to operate at 850psi, A CO2 tank at 70deg has an average pressure of 850 psi but as the temp goes down so does operating pressure. Also contrary to popular myth, paintballs become more brittle as they get colder. So on cold winter days we feel our players have three things working against them.
1. low gun pressure causes CO2 markers to "jack hammer" and break paint in the gun
2. Low temps effect the paintballs and they break in the barrels of the guns and even in the hoppers
3. The weather itself, we don't want to see anybody risk injury from playing in cold or icy conditions or even risk driving to our field on icy roads.
Therefore, we will not open the playing fields if the temp is forecasted to be below 30deg. This is for our customers safety as well as our staff. we recommend calling to check the field conditions before coming out on cold/snowy days. We have to make a profit to stay in business, but not at the risk of a players enjoyment or safety.
You may be dying to play paintball, But don't die to play paintball
