Ms. Teague is a native of Bethlehem, Alexander County, North Carolina. She was a member of the first graduating class from Alexander Central High School. She is a graduate of Lenoir Rhyne College with dual majors in secondary education and pre-law. Ms. Teague attended graduate school at the Babcock School of Business at Wake Forest University and graduated from Campbell University School of Law in 1989. Ms. Teague’s family was instrumental in a number of businesses, church and community projects in and around the Alexander County area.
Our office is located in the former Clayton Marcus Teague family homeplace located in the heart of Bethlehem Community, just five miles from Hickory and twelve miles from Taylorsville. Ms. Teague was the first granddaughter of the late Clayton Marcus Teague, who along with Ms. Teague’s father and uncle started Clayton Marcus Furniture Company, once the largest employer in Alexander County with locations also in Catawba County.
Bethlehem is a thriving community located on the northern banks of the Catawba River. With its many lovely waterfront residential developments and small town living with the convenience of a five minute drive to Hickory make Bethlehem an ideal place for families and businesses alike. Bethlehem is known statewide for its Christmas Star Lighting and the re-creation of the original town of Bethlehem and the birth of Jesus Christ.
