Founded 2006 in Hickory, North Carolina, Joint Replacement Specialists is dedicated to relieving your joint pain and restoring mobility and quality of life. Our physicians and staff are committed to patient education and compassionate care from diagnosis through recovery. Conveniently located in the Viewmont section of Hickory, we provide advanced orthopaedic care for joint pain sufferers. Dr. Peak is pleased to call Hickory home and provide a level of care here since 2004 previously available only in larger cities.

Foot and Ankle Specialist, Richard A. Lind, DPM, Joins Joint Replacement Specialists
Joint Replacement Specialists, a Hickory, NC-based medical practice dedicated to advanced orthopaedic care for joint pain sufferers, has announced that they have added foot and ankle specialist Richard A. Lind, DPM, to their staff.
Richard A. Lind, DPM, earned his Doctor in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, in Chicago, Illinois. He performed his podiatric residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Marion, Indiana, his podiatric surgical preceptorship at Winona Regional Foot & Ankle Center in Indianapolis, Indiana, and his podiatric surgical residency at Westview Osteopathic Hospital also located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. Lind is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the North Carolina Foot and Ankle Society, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has staff privileges at both Frye Regional and Catawba Valley Medical Centers.
Joint Replacement Specialists is located at 36 14th Avenue NE, in Hickory, NC, just behind People's Bank on Highway 127 in Viewmont. The practice specializes in hip, knee and shoulder replacements and revisions, less invasive surgery, physical therapy and accelerated rehabilitation to help relieve joint pain, improve mobility and restore quality of life. Dr. Lind joins Dr. E. Louis Peak, a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement surgery of the hip, knee and shoulder, who founded the practice in 2006.
