Established as an upscale private school in 1991, The Academy of Asheville enrolls children age two through five. The Academy is privately owned and operated, by a mother. The owner, as well as the director, (also a mother) are on site every day, closely monitoring the program, available to speak with parents, while insuring a very safe, secure and happy place for your child to learn and play. In addition to excellent care, we provide a soothing environment, very clean, safe, spacious classrooms complete with security cameras as well as keypad hallway entry, for children to enjoy playing and learning with friends. Friendly and Caring Staff
We are very fortunate to have such wonderful staff. Each very friendly and caring. They enjoy children. And it shows. Upon arrival, your child will be greeted with a smile and assisted in joining in on activities. Any tears are quickly comforted. Management and staff are available to fill you in on your child’s day and answer any questions you might have regarding your child or our program. We feel communication is very important. In addition, every few weeks throughout enrollment, you will be informed on your child’s progress in areas ranging from sharing and taking turns, to recognizing abc’s and numbers. In addition to excellent supervision, a security code entrance precedes our classrooms. As an upscale private school, educational content is built into many daily activities.

Open Door Policy
We provide a true open door policy. You, as well as your child’s grandparents are welcome to drop in to check on or spend time with your child, at any time, as often as you wish. Each classroom is equipped with a children’s telephone. They enjoy making and receiving calls from their parents and grandparents. We also provide a fax machine for your child to send and receive faxes.
