Whew--was that enough jargon for you? We have many categories to choose from here in the building but our web presence features our spirituality and religion titles.
Why? you ask.
We looked on the vast expanses of the World Wide Web and found that it was difficult to discern what was really out there in terms of spiritual titles. If you're looking for the newest or deepest thoughts published in other religions, do you need to keep Googling the national websites of the world's religions? Do you need to know Karen Armstrong's name so that you can go to her site?
While our greatest depth and selection is in Christian theology, we also stock titles in many other disciplines and areas. We continue to be the western North Carolina source for the Book of Common Prayer and other Episcopal resources. At both website and store, you'll find a cross-cultural and multi-discipline inventory of spirituality and religion titles. Something that's rare in the dub-dub-dub world.
Classic and contemporary writings in Judaism, Islam and Buddhism, as well as other spiritual traditions, are featured in our large and varied inventory.
Our goal with this web presence is to bring the great knowledge that our owner/buyers have about the best and newest in spiritual thought--the knowledge you can access by calling us or visiting our store.
Almost a third of our bookshop is a glorious children's section and we have strong regional, travel and fiction sections as well. So, if you are looking for a children's book or a travel book, chances are we have it or can order it. If you need any or all of the above, give us a call or shoot us an email.
