We are a redistributor of janitorial supplies and equipment. We also have a full service repair shop to repair your janitorial electric and battery-operated equipment. We supply paper products, cleaning chemicals and supplies as well as janitorial equipment for sale and for rent. Some of the name brands we carry are Rubbermaid, Clarke, SC Johnson, Georgia Pacific, Tork and Stockhausen.

Carpet odor! Please Help!
"Lakeview Restoration is correct in speaking about the padding. If it is in the padding, you will need to treat the padding or get rid of it all together. I own a janitorial supplies company and we deal with a company named Nilodor that makes a product called Enzyme Digester. This is a product that is used to breakdown the bacteria that creates the urine smell. It comes in several different scents. I use this product at my home in the Soft Linen scent to take care of puppy accidents in my carpets. The best way I have found to use this product is to first soak up as much of the urine as possible if it is still wet, then spray the product directly on the spot and work it into the carpet (or padding) with a clean cloth. Next, I take another dry, clean cloth and blot the area leaving the cloth covering the area until the spot is dry. The cloth helps in the wicking process of the chemical. After it has dried, use clean water to rinse the spot. This step is very important to remove any chemical from the carpet. If left in your carpet, it, like any other chemical you put on your carpet, will attract other dirt particles to create a brand new stain. Once this has dried, vacuum the area as you normally would. The nice thing about this product is it will eliminate the smell so well that your pet will not be able to smell it to go back to that same spot to use it again. It will also act as a spot remover and works best when the stain is caught early. Pet urine has a chemical in it that will permanently discolor your carpet if left for a long period of time. Trust me... I know this from experience. I have added a link to a product listing page for this product. My company sells it and I would be happy to quote you a price. This particular product we sell by the quart and it comes with six quarts to a case. We can get you a similar product that comes four gallons to a case.
