Our students have become some of the finest young dancers in the country, going on to train at such programs as the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Virginia School of the Arts, Atlanta Ballet, North Carolina Dance Theatre and the American Dance Festival. Our instructors have trained and performed with some of the most prestigious dance programs available, including the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts, Pennsylvania Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, the Hungarian National Ballet, the American Dance Festival, New York’s Steps and Broadway Dance Center.
But Encore Academy of Dance is more than just great dancing!Our dancers go beyond learning wonderful technique and poise to develope important life skills, learning to be respectful, confident and conscientious young people.
Additionally, Encore Academy of Dance’s instruction program offers the largest selection of classes available in this area, catering to both students pursuing a career in dance and the recreational dancer, beginning as early as 2 years old.
Dance is a performing art! Our students perform in parades, festivals and at nursing homes in addition to our Annual Spring Performance; which attracts about 500 people annually.
