Thank you for taking your time to express interest in Freedom Baptist Church. For many years the church was located downtown and with the passing of time this conservative, Bible-believing church realized it needed to relocate. With excitement the old building was sold and property was purchased on Country Day Road. With fourteen acres and a set of new building plans Freedom marched forward.
While our new plans took shape, we met in a gymnasium for nine months. We gained a renewed vigor of teamwork as we worked together to assemble and disassemble for church every week. Finally on September 7, 2003, we held our first service in Phase 1 of our new church home. With enthusiasm we began to dream of a family life center to accommodate our growing family. In 2004, we finished Phase 2, and our new building has provided great opportunities to grow. Once again, we anticipate God's blessings as we approach Phase 3, our educational wing.
The future is bright as we look to Christ. His death, burial and resurrection is an unchanging message that still transforms lives. Located just inside the city limits, we are convenient to Goldsboro and surrounding areas. We value our regular members and invite you to visit with us. We think you'll enjoy the warm and caring atmosphere here at Freedom...where our focus is on Jesus Christ and His love to you.
